Great to meet you!

Therapy is often a first step to discovering answers to questions we have about ourselves by providing us the safe space we need to share, gain insight through an objective and non-judgmental perspective, and make drastic changes for the better so I encourage and commend you in taking this step! My name is Candace and I've been working as a mental health professional since 2018 and I have worked with children (ages 8 & up), teens, and adults experiencing various struggles such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma. In recent years my practice has been largely focused on women's issues and processing trauma.

My approach to therapy

Everyone's story deserves to be treated with personalized care and if you decide to move forward in meeting with me I want to partner with you in a collaborative therapeutic process. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable communicating openly and you feel respected in your journey. I’ll be there to listen to you and support you along the way through a client-centered approach and use of evidence-based practices in order to find a new path forward for you in your life.

What you can expect from me

As every client deserves an individualized approach to their care I always start with an intake session where we will discuss your goals for therapy as well as what you're looking for in a counselor. I always strive to create a warm and welcoming environment to ensure that every client feels secure and comfortable trusting me in their vulnerable moments and working towards accomplishing their long term goals.
