Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. I bring a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens to my work and believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

My professional background includes working in community mental health and outpatient settings, where I have supported individuals with diverse needs and lived experiences. I value collaboration and view therapy as a partnership, honoring each client’s strengths, values, and personal goals. My intention is to create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and encouraged throughout your healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented. I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and how these patterns can impact daily functioning.

I work with clients to identify areas that may be keeping them stuck while also building practical coping strategies and skills that can be used outside of session. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, pace, cultural background, and lived experiences.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and welcoming environment focused on building connection and understanding. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will also take time to learn about your background, strengths, and any concerns you would like to address.

The first session is collaborative and paced to your comfort level. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clear about next steps as we begin working together.
