Your first visit is a comprehensive, collaborative evaluation designed to understand you as a whole person. We will review your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, and any relevant life factors such as stress, sleep, and lifestyle.
I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and may use standardized screening tools to help guide assessment. This is also an opportunity for you to share your goals, ask questions, and discuss what you’re hoping to get out of treatment.
By the end of the visit, we will review initial impressions and develop a personalized treatment plan together. This may include therapy recommendations, medication options (if appropriate), and practical strategies to support your mental health.
My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care.
