Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master of Social Work from Saint Leo University in 2020 and began providing therapy during my training and as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I obtained my LMSW in Virginia and New York in 2021 and became fully licensed as an LCSW in April 2026. My background also includes working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) in community-based settings, as well as experience within the Veterans Affairs healthcare system.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, and life transitions. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck and are looking for practical ways to feel more balanced and in control.

My approach is supportive, down-to-earth, and focused on real-life change. I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strength-based approaches. I tailor therapy to each person, focusing on building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and helping you better understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Clients often describe my style as collaborative, nonjudgmental, and practical. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being open while also leaving sessions with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs. I use a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective to help you better understand your experiences and how they impact your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to guide and support you in a nonjudgmental space. Together, we’ll build practical strategies to help you manage challenges, improve relationships, and feel more in control.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to work toward. I aim to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can share at your own pace without pressure. We’ll begin identifying your goals and what support looks like for you, so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
