Great to meet you!

I am an Army Veteran and LCPC with a certification as a national certified counselor through the NBCC and have accumulated over 7 years of direct individual/group practice as a licensed counselor. Overall, my experience spans over 10+ years working as a crisis, substance use, and mental health counselor in the field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, substance use, various trauma, and emotional abuse.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is very welcoming and inviting. I believe in honoring the values of respect, sensitivity, compassion, empathy and embracing a holistic point of view to promote mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

When taking this therapeutic journey with me, there are expectations of not being afraid of growth, working through your comfort zone at times, and be motivated to do the "homework" I may assign to you. There may be moments of fun, loving laughter as I can be funny with my "mom" jokes as icebreakers but I make sure to keep the atmosphere professional, comforting, and warm for the best experience possible. So, be ready to work towards your best possible self in the oasis I provide!
