Great to meet you!

My name is Caprice, and i'm a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing a compassionate and supportive space for you.

I earned my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana and have spent the past eight years working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My experience includes helping clients navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, anger, substance use, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and self-esteem struggles.

I have worked with children and adolescents in schools and community settings, as well as adults facing mental health and substance use concerns in behavioral health clinics, community programs, and the legal system. Through my work, I've witnessed incredible growth and resilience in my clients, which continues to inspire me to serve those seeking support especially those who may have doubts about their own strengths and needs.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to meet each client where they are, creating a safe and comfortable space for growth and exploration. I see myself as a guide, helping clients build awareness and empowering them to make meaningful changes that align with their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients will gain the tools to process their emotions effectively, develop practical coping strategies for navigating everyday challenges, feel truly heard and understood, and build the confidence needed to work toward and achieve their goals.
