Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Cara. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings. I enjoy helping others break unhelpful patterns and gain insight, allowing them to lead a meaningful life filled with joy and purpose. I believe with the proper tools and taught skills, positive emotions will occur more naturally.

My approach to therapy

My passion for helping others began as a child when I learned about the field of social work from my grandfather. I am warm, approachable, and solution focused. I lean into practical skills that you can use in your day to day life to manage symptoms. In addition, I find it paramount to provide a safe space for clients to process and work through any experiences or feelings that may be holding them back. I take a holistic approach, which means that I understand that oftentimes, our problems don't exist in a vacuum.

What you can expect from me

My approach is rooted in empathy and empowerment. My goal is to help you process emotions and increase your overall functioning in life.
