Great to meet you!

Hey! I am Cara, my approach is dependent on what the folks I am working with need. I bring a culturally informed lens to our work, understanding that everyone's journey is distinct. I think that one of my greatest strengths is creating a connection with clients and a space they feel comfortable being themselves.

If this sounds good to you, schedule a consultation. I look forward to meeting you!!

My approach to therapy

I focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship. Sometimes, the things that have helped us survive are not the things that will help us thrive. I work with people to lean more heavily on the behaviors that will help them thrive. I am aware of the impact that racism, transphobia, neurodiversity, monosexism, homophobia, ablelism, fatphobia, classism, xenophobia and the intersections between, can have on individuals and groups. My overall goal is for you to feel safe being yourself!

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to walk away feeling understood, and seen. Feeling like the therapy space that we build is serving them and helping them move towards the goals they have!
