Great to meet you!

I received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University, and I am licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been trained in EMDR, IFS, PIT, psychedelic-assisted therapy, Relational Life therapy and Gottman Level One. I work with adult individuals and couples and specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, addiction, trauma, codependency, and relationships.

My approach to therapy

Many psychological difficulties begin early in life and stem from relationships within the family of origin. These problems usually surface later in life. My clients explore their family of origin for clues about their present-day circumstances. I use EMDR, IFS, somatic experiencing, and nervous system regulation tools, to help clients heal from traumatic experiences. Codependent behaviors are very common in our society. I educate clients about what causes codependence/relational issues and how to overcome these behaviors.

What you can expect from me

My clients will grow in ways they never imagined possible by working with me. I provide individual and couple counseling to those dealing with trauma, and codependence/relational issues. I incorporate experiential therapy when talk therapy isn't enough. Clients will not only gain self-awareness during our sessions but will also begin to understand the "why" that influences their behaviors. Clients will be educated and empowered throughout our sessions together.
