As the founder and CEO of Parrott Counseling Services, LLC, I bring over two decades of specialized experience in addiction and mental health counseling. I'm two-time graduate of the University of Georgia, earning a BS in Psychology followed by an MSW in Social Work. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work Leadership from Tulane University.

Certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Master Addictions Counselor, and Certified Clinical Supervisor, my approach is rooted in a passion for aiding recovery and promoting mental well-being among individuals, families, and communities. I am particularly adept at treating substance use disorders, employing a personalized, multi-modal strategy that adapts to the unique, evolving needs of his clients. My practice extends to special populations, including mandated and re-entry individuals, which enhances my comprehensive understanding of the complexities associated with addiction.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Master Addictions Counselor, I am passionate and dedicated to helping individuals, families and communities that are struggling to recover from alcohol and other drugs. I also work diligently to assist individuals and families with addressing related issues in social, emotional, occupational, and mental health functioning. I will work with you to move forward in life and achieve your goal of being free of active addiction, regardless of the past factors that have negatively impacted your life.

I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders for individuals, families, and groups. As part of my practice, I work closely with special populations which includes mandated and re-entry individuals. I employ a long-term, multi-modal approach that is continually adapted to meet a client's ever-changing needs.

Addiction is a unique disease that affects the individual biologically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. Therefore, treatment requires a specific plan of action for each client based upon his or her unique situation. I have 20 yrs of experience working with recovering individuals and their families. I believe that all individuals can recover.
