Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Carina! I'm a board-certified Psychiatric NP with years of experience in mental health care, including working as a Psych RN before becoming an NP. I support teens, adults and older adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, stress and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood and supported every step of the way!

My approach to therapy

My approach focuses on evidence-based prescribing, patient education, and collaborative treatment planning. I work closely with clients and, when appropriate, coordinate care with therapists and primary care providers to support comprehensive mental health care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you can expect a supportive and relaxed conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your concerns, your history, and what you hope to improve or achieve. I’ll also ask about your goals so we can begin identifying initial treatment priorities and discuss potential options that align with your needs. This session is a chance for us to connect, build rapport, and start shaping a collaborative care plan together.
