Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Carine Nkemgang, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and registered nurse. I provide compassionate psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for children and adults navigating mental health concerns.

I understand that reaching out for care can feel like a big step, and I’m here to make the process feel comfortable, respectful, and supportive. I’ll take the time to listen to your experiences, answer your questions, explain your options clearly, and work with you and, when appropriate, your family to create a treatment plan that reflects your needs and goals.

My hope is that you and your family feel heard, understood, and encouraged throughout your care.

My approach to therapy

I approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and an open mind. I’ll listen to your story, consider the challenges affecting your daily life, and explain treatment options clearly. Together, we’ll create a care plan that fits your needs, with space for your questions and preferences at every step.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is a chance for us to get to know each other without judgment. I’ll ask about what has been troubling you, your health history, and what you hope to gain from care. You’ll have time to ask questions, and we’ll discuss possible next steps together so you leave with a clearer sense of your options.
