Great to meet you!

Working as a therapist is the most rewarding career. I graduated from Walden University in 2017 with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From there I worked in nonprofits, a private practice, and a group practice after which starting my own private practice.

While I have experience in many areas of mental health, I am most experienced in pregnancy issues including parenting, adoption, abortion, stillbirth), toxic relationship recovery, ADHD, and sexual trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the story is everything and everything is in the story. I like to learn about my clients and their lives, both past and present. I work to ask challenging questions that provoke critical thinking. It's through that critical thinking that we often come to the best possible solution. I like to be creative, catering to the client's interests and hobbies in a therapeutic way while working through issues.

What you can expect from me

When you schedule a session at For the Love of Therapy, you can expect to learn coping skills and tools for whatever issue you may be experiencing. You will learn more about yourself including strengths and challenges. All of this in a space that is private, nonjudgmental, caring, and encouraging.
