Great to meet you!

I am deeply committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every individual I work with. I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them identify their own strengths, goals, and next steps. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and centered on helping you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I work with adults and older adults navigating substance use and addiction, grief and loss, anxiety, PTSD, stress management concerns, anger, end-of-life issues, maternal mental health concerns, and major life transitions. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or unsure how to cope with what life has brought your way. Together, we can explore what you are experiencing, build on the strengths you already have, and develop practical tools to help you move toward healing, stability, and a renewed sense of hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered. I believe each client is the expert in their own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered. I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and pace.

I draw from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Behavior Modification, Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on understanding patterns, managing anxiety or stress, processing grief, addressing substance use, coping with anger, navigating PTSD symptoms, or building healthier ways to respond to life’s challenges. My goal is to help you identify what is meaningful to you, strengthen your coping skills, and create realistic steps toward growth and change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave each session with a greater sense of self-awareness, tools for coping with life’s challenges, and a renewed sense of hope and direction. In our first sessions, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been difficult recently, and what you would like to feel or do differently moving forward.

You can expect a warm, inquisitive, and empowering environment where your experiences are taken seriously and your goals guide our work. I will support you in recognizing your strengths, exploring your emotions, and building practical skills that can help you manage stress, grief, anxiety, substance use concerns, anger, or life transitions. Over time, therapy can help you feel more grounded, confident, and equipped to move forward.
