Carla Nunez

My name is Carla Nuñez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have extensive experience working in both community mental health and school-based mental health. My goal is to provide a culturally sensitive, supportive, curious, compassionate, and reflective space for you to explore your inner self and overcome personal challenges. I don't believe that our goal in life should be to live in constant happiness, but to live filled with ease and contentment even in the most challenging times.

I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. You're the expert in your journey, I'm always client-centered. I come to walk alongside you, provide various forms of support, and hold space for all the feelings that come up. We celebrate all wins- no matter how big or small- to not only identify cycles that are being broken, but ancestral strength and wisdom paving the way. I incorporate a variety of techniques and evidenced-based practices to meet your needs.

I believe that all individuals are deserving of having necessary spaces to be unapologetically, and fully, themselves. I want clients to be able to show up as their most raw and vulnerable selves and be seen, heard, and understood completely and unconditionally. I hope to give this experience during each session, and throughout treatment.
