Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel truly heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what you are going through and begin building practical tools for change. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, anger, relationship challenges, family conflict, ADHD, substance use concerns, and life transitions. I also support clients managing the emotional impact of health-related concerns, including diabetes and chronic stress. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of where to begin, we will work together at a pace that feels manageable. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I want clients to leave therapy feeling more understood, more equipped, and more confident in their ability to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, supportive, and client-centered. I use evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and biofeedback-informed strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

Together, we will identify what is keeping you stuck, build healthier coping skills, and focus on realistic steps that support lasting change. I often help clients strengthen communication, manage stress, regulate emotions, improve relationships, and create healthier patterns in their daily lives. Therapy with me is not about judgment or pressure. It is about creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered to make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting connection. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our work together. We will also complete an initial assessment so I can learn more about your background, current concerns, strengths, and goals. From there, we’ll begin creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs. My goal for the first session is for you to feel heard, respected, and more clear about the next steps we can take together.
