Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based psychiatric care. I provide medication management for adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns, with a special interest in supporting older adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people living with HIV, and women. My approach is empowering, open-minded, and solution-oriented, creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to psychiatric care is collaborative, individualized, and focused on meaningful improvement in your daily life. I take time to understand you as a whole person, not simply a diagnosis, and work with you to identify treatment options that fit your needs and goals. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide thoughtful medication management with attention to effectiveness, safety, tolerability, and your preferences. I believe you should feel informed, heard, and empowered to take an active role in your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming, judgment-free opportunity for us to get to know each other, understand your concerns, and identify your treatment goals. We’ll review your mental health and medical history, current symptoms, medications, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. When appropriate, we’ll discuss medication options, including benefits, risks, and potential side effects, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that is realistic, collaborative, and aligned with your goals.
