I'm passionate about empowering others to know their true worth, to face their past, their fears or anything else that may be keeping them from living out their God given gifts and purpose. I have had the honor of serving as a counselor in the Capital Region of New York for almost 15 years and 6 years ago opened my own private practice.
My approach in therapy is collaborative and goal oriented. It is a blend of using psychological knowledge and experience, while also teaching practical tools, and including their faith walk, if desired, in a seamless way.
I start our first session as an introductory session, where you'll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to accomplish through counseling. I always try to lead with understanding, empathy and warmth so clients feel comfortable to be open and themselves. Together we make a plan going forward to reach all your counseling goals.
