Great to meet you!

I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working with diverse populations across a variety of care settings—from inpatient hospitals to outpatient clinics and private practice. These experiences have deepened my respect for each person’s unique story and strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Dallas Baptist University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Woman’s University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, EMDR Certified, a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist (KAP), and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I also have specialized training in trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, and eating disorder treatment.

My work blends evidence-based trauma therapies with mind-body and intuitive approaches, honoring that healing happens in the brain, body, nervous system, and energetic field.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply compassionate while also helping clients create meaningful and lasting change. I work from a holistic lens that honors the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and emotional experiences.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship challenges, and feelings of disconnection from self. I also support clients exploring spiritual trauma, identity, inner child healing, and the impact of chronic stress on emotional wellbeing.

My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and nervous system-focused interventions, mindfulness, and attachment-based therapy. I help clients better understand the protective patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building greater self-compassion, emotional regulation, and trust within themselves.

I view therapy as a space for both healing and reconnection — a place where clients can slow down, process experiences without judgment, and move toward a more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space for clients to begin feeling comfortable, supported, and understood without pressure to have everything figured out. I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I focus on creating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can show up exactly as they are.

During the first session, we’ll explore what is bringing clients to therapy, current challenges, personal history, and what clients hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I also take time to understand patterns, stressors, relationships, and how emotional experiences may be impacting the nervous system, daily life, and sense of self.

Clients can expect a collaborative approach where goals are tailored to individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we begin identifying areas for healing, growth, and greater balance while building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and safety.

My hope is that clients leave the first session feeling heard, more connected to themselves, and encouraged that meaningful change is possible.
