Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Carllisa Williams, a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, PMHNP-BC) with advanced training in both primary care and mental health. I provide compassionate, culturally aware, and solution-focused care for adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and life transitions.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing and later completed a post-master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health. I’m currently completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), continuing to grow in evidence-based practice and leadership.

My approach is warm, empowering, and collaborative. I believe healing happens in safe, nonjudgmental spaces where clients are encouraged to show up fully as themselves. Whether you’re starting therapy or seeking support through medication management, I’m here to partner with you on your journey toward wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, client-centered, and empowering. I believe in meeting clients where they are emotionally, mentally, and culturally and creating a safe, judgment-free space where healing can begin.

I combine evidence-based practices with active listening and compassionate care to help clients understand themselves, manage their symptoms, and build resilience. Whether we’re working through anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma, I focus on helping clients feel seen, supported, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.

I also believe in the importance of collaboration. I take time to educate clients on their treatment options including therapy, lifestyle changes, and medication when appropriate so they can make informed decisions about their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and judgment free space where you can share your story at your own pace. I’ll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, mental health history, goals, and what you're hoping to get out of treatment.

We’ll work together to begin building a treatment plan that aligns with your needs whether that includes therapy, medication management, lifestyle support, or a combination. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, respected, and confident that you’re in a safe space to begin your healing journey.
