Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Carlos, and I am a clinical mental health counselor, and I am here for you! I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and safe environment where you can explore your concerns, goals, and desires for creating the change you seek. My goal is to help those I work with heal and feel hopeful.

My approach to therapy

Through mindfulness-based techniques, behavioral interventions, and strengths-focused therapy, I can help you regain balance and improve your overall quality of life. Utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I tailor my approach to meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session you should expect a collaborative, thorough, and conversational assessment. We will focus on introductions, going over the basics of confidentiality, and discussing what brings you in. Together, we will outline your personal goals and begin building a trusting relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
