Hello,

I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in Chicago, IL. I work with individuals who are navigating difficult emotions, life transitions, and challenges related to substance use. My ideal clients are those who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, but are open to exploring those feelings in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I strive to help clients build clarity, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.

I am passionate about the population I serve, and I am a strong advocate for destigmatizing mental health and substance use disorders.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but also utilize other treatment modalities, such as harm reduction and Person-Centered Therapy. I strongly believe in the power of our thoughts and in helping clients identify negative thought patterns to shape their interactions with their surroundings. Additionally, I may assign take-home assignments to assist clients in incorporating alternative coping strategies into their daily lives.

In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions to gain insight into your past experiences, both in therapy and in your personal history. We will explore the supports that are available to you and introduce new techniques to help you better manage day-to-day stressors. This initial step will lay the foundation for our work together, ensuring that we tailor our approach to meet your specific needs and goals.
