Great to meet you!

What I want you to know about me is that you don’t have to come in having everything figured out or knowing exactly where to start. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with over 10 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and older adults, and most of the people I work with are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted when they first reach out. In our work together, I focus on creating a down-to-earth, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can slow things down, talk honestly about what’s going on, and start making sense of what’s been feeling heavy or stuck. Over time, we look at the patterns that keep showing up in your life and build practical tools that actually fit your day-to-day so you can feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

In my sessions you would feel like you have space to slow things down and actually talk about what’s going on without being judged or rushed. You don’t need to show up with the right words or have everything figured out. We start where you are and go at a pace that feels manageable for you. We look at what’s been feeling overwhelming or stuck, how your thoughts and emotions are playing into it, and what might need to shift so things start to feel different in your daily life. I use evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, trauma focused work, and family systems perspectives, depending on what fits your needs. I often work with people dealing with stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity pressure, and life transitions. My approach is warm, honest, and practical, supportive but real, with a focus on helping you feel more grounded and more like yourself again.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll slow things down and talk about what’s been going on in your life and what brought you in. You don’t need to have the right words or everything figured out before you get here. We’ll just start where you are and go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask questions to help us get a clear picture of what you’re dealing with, not to judge you or label you, but to really understand what’s been weighing on you and what you need right now.

A lot of people feel a sense of relief just from finally saying things out loud and not carrying it alone anymore. By the end of the first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and to have a clearer sense of what’s going on and what working together could look like moving forward.
