Dr. Perez, an Army veteran has worked with a wide range of populations, including children, college students, adults, and families. Dr. Perez primarily utilizes a relational approach when working with clients, but is also trained in other modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and humanistic. Since graduating from Pepperdine University, Dr. Perez has provided bilingual mental health services in both English and Spanish in a variety of settings.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Perez emphasizes the relationship as the primary instrument to achieve healing and change. Dr. Perez believes in establishing a safe therapeutic space that supports client growth and insight. Throughout his career as a psychologist, Dr. Perez has assisted with improving the well-being of those who have suffered with trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, alcohol use, and other conditions.
