Great to meet you!

Sometimes the hardest part of therapy is showing up before you even know what you want out of it. If you're feeling stuck, frustrated, or like something needs to change but you can't quite name what, that's exactly where we start. I work with teens, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, and the kind of life experiences that feel too big to sort out alone. You don't need to come in with clear goals. We'll figure that out together.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me feels like a partnership, not a session you sit through. I draw on CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and solution-focused work, so we're not just talking about your problems. We're clarifying what you want, naming the patterns underneath, and practicing new skills between sessions until they actually take root. Clients often describe me as supportive and open-minded, but also someone who will gently redirect when you're spinning in the same loop. Therapy is not just talking. It is working together to create real change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other and what brought you in. You don't need everything figured out before you arrive. Many clients come in unsure of their goals, and identifying what direction feels right for you is part of the work itself. By the end of the session, we'll have a starting plan, and you'll leave with a sense of whether this feels like the right fit.
