Great to meet you!

My name is Carlton Pridgen, and I’m a licensed professional counselor with six years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals address a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. Counseling is a deeply personal journey, and I approach each session with a person-centered mindset—tailoring my methods to meet your needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These approaches are grounded in research and provide effective tools to help you understand and overcome the obstacles you face.

What you can expect from me

I’m here to support, guide, and collaborate with you through your journey toward healing and personal growth. Whether you’re dealing with difficult emotions, relationship struggles, or behavioral challenges, I’m committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your feelings and develop the tools to move forward.
