Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Carly Fritz. I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Seattle. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Washington and my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. I enjoy helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, family & relationship difficulties, stress/burnout, self-esteem, identity exploration, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is about self-reflection and cultivating desired change. My approach is rooted in person-centered and relational therapy, meaning that I believe the therapist-client relationship in itself can foster healing. I have found that I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and early adults, walking alongside them through these sometimes turbulent yet simultaneously exciting stages of development. "Adulting" is hard, no one should have to figure it all out on their own!

What you can expect from me

My counseling style is warm, genuine, collaborative, and relationship-based. I take an eclectic approach with each of my clients, tailoring the interventions I use to each individual's specific needs, wants, and goals. My clients can expect to feel understood and cared for, advocated for and respected, to find balance, and overall have a trustworthy space to explore their passions, values, goals, relationships, and their past and present experiences.
