Great to meet you!

I've been a mental health counselor since 2009 and have 15 years experience working in community mental health centers, crisis programs, and hospitals. My passion is in working with people who are struggling with anxiety related to body image, weight, and food, or related to finances, career, or work. I use mindfulness practices and acceptance & commitment theory to help you start feeling better fast, and work longer term to change your relationship with what's got you anxious and stressed out.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is person-centered, where you get to decide your goals for our work together. I strive to create a safe space where we can explore the issues you're facing, make changes, and help you get where you want to be - and I'll bring plenty of compassion and challenge you when needed.

What you can expect from our first session

In your sessions, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to get from our time together. We'll work to identify solutions to help you feel better quickly, but also tackle longer term analysis of your values, issues, and goals in life.
