Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board-approved clinical supervisor with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through a variety of life challenges. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment or pressure.

I specialize in working with children and teens, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions, women in recovery, and parents navigating the challenges of raising neurodivergent children. I have extensive experience working with children and families and understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to support your child while also managing everything else life brings.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I incorporate evidence-based strategies while tailoring therapy to each person’s needs, personality, and goals. With younger clients, I use creative and engaging activities to help them feel comfortable expressing themselves and developing practical coping skills. With adults, I focus on creating a space where you can talk openly, gain insight, and make meaningful changes that feel realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping to get out of our time together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals, but I want the conversation to feel natural rather than like an interview.

There’s no pressure to share everything right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin identifying what you’d like to work on together. For children and teens, I focus on building trust and connection first and may incorporate games, activities, or conversation based on their age and interests. My goal is for you, or your child, to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and comfortable coming back.
