Great to meet you!

I’m Carly, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in San Antonio, Texas. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

It's my honor to support people navigating anxiety, stress, depression, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, pressured to “hold it together,” or unsure how to make sense of what they’re feeling. I aim to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, where clients can build insight while also developing practical tools they can use in daily life.

Adolescents and young adults are a particular passion of mine, and many tell me they find it easy to open up and feel understood in our work together.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I help you build awareness of your emotions, thoughts, physical experiences, and the environments that shape your daily life. As you begin to understand yourself more fully, you can start to shift unhelpful thought patterns, change how your body responds to stress, and choose behaviors and language that better support your growth. My approach is gentle but direct, intentional, and focused on meaningful, lasting change that improves your overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I work well with individuals who feel ready to look at themselves more deeply and want support seeing the bigger picture of their life and wellbeing. You might feel disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply aware that something isn’t working the way it used to. Even if you can’t quite put it into words yet, you have a sense that you want to feel more balanced and find the clarity you need to move forward and grow as a person.

My ideal clients are open to self-exploration and curious about how their thoughts, emotions, body, and surroundings all interact. They don’t have to have everything figured out — just a willingness to reflect and try new ways of relating to themselves and the world. Together, we focus on building awareness, encouraging progress, and creating a life that feels more aligned, empowered, and fulfilling.
