Great to meet you!
I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel understood, empowered, and comfortable being themselves. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Christian Counseling and have specialized training in EMDR and Brainspotting, with a strong clinical focus on trauma and trauma recovery.
My experience working with children and families spans nearly two decades. I have 19 years of experience as a nanny, which has given me a unique understanding of child development, family dynamics, parenting challenges, and the everyday experiences that shape children as they grow. In addition, I have spent the past six years working clinically with children and adolescents, supporting them through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
My approach to therapy is individualized and relationship-focused. I believe therapy should meet clients where they are while providing them with practical tools to better understand their emotions, process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. When working with children and teens, I also value collaboration with parents and caregivers when appropriate, recognizing the important role that family support can play in a young person’s progress.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your teenager, my goal is to provide a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, supported, and encouraged as you work toward healing and growth.
