Great to meet you!

Healing is more than symptom management — it’s learning how to reconnect with yourself beneath the pain, survival patterns, and self-doubt. With 14 years in substance use treatment and 4 years in mental health counseling, I support adolescents and adults navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and life’s emotional challenges in a space that feels safe, genuine, and judgment-free. My approach blends trauma-informed care with CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients build practical coping tools while creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we focus on moving beyond survival mode and helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to who you truly are.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as yourself, feel understood, and work toward real change without judgment. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and focused on how your life experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors all connect. Together, we work on building practical coping skills, strengthening emotional resilience, and finding healthier ways to handle life’s challenges. I value open communication, authenticity, and creating a supportive space where you feel respected, empowered, and encouraged throughout your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance to begin building a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and sharing at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what feels most important for your growth and healing. I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and current challenges so we can start shaping meaningful and realistic goals together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and more grounded in the idea that change and healing are possible.
