Great to meet you!
For more than 20 years, I have worked alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's challenges, transitions, and relationships. Through both my professional experience and personal understanding of multigenerational family dynamics, I recognize that many of the struggles we face did not begin with us and are often shaped by patterns, experiences, and beliefs passed down over time.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Doctor of Social Work (DSW), and Professor of Social Work, I understand that meaningful change rarely comes from quick fixes. Lasting growth occurs through insight, intentional effort, and a willingness to explore the connections between our past experiences and present lives. As a first-generation Latina, I also appreciate the important role that culture, family, faith, and personal values play in shaping our lives. For clients who desire it, I welcome conversations that integrate faith and spirituality as sources of strength, healing, and resilience.
My goal is to provide a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.
