Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience helping adults and couples heal, grow, and build emotionally healthy lives and relationships. Over the course of my career, I have worked with thousands of clients navigating anxiety, attachment patterns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and seasons of deep personal and spiritual growth. I also specialize in helping couples recover from infidelity and rebuild trust after significant relational rupture.

Many of the clients I work with are educated, capable, and outwardly successful, yet feel internally unsettled—emotionally disconnected, anxious, or aware that something more is possible. They are not looking for surface-level coping or generic advice; they want therapy that is thoughtful, emotionally attuned, and grounded in wisdom, experience, and clinical skill.

I also work with clients who want therapy that respects their beliefs, honors their moral framework, and integrates psychological and spiritual understanding without minimizing either. My work meets clients where they are—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually—while helping them move toward greater wholeness, security, and clarity.

Clients often describe me as steady, discerning, and deeply experienced. I bring structure, emotional safety, and perspective to the work, helping clients feel understood while also guiding meaningful change. Through Headway, I provide secure Telehealth therapy to residents of Indiana and Florida. I do provide in-person therapy in Louisville, Kentucky, however, these appointments are not covered through Headway and are self-pay.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, relational, and grounded in both evidence-based practice and decades of clinical experience. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based work, neuroscience- and somatic-informed approaches, and relationship science to address not only symptoms, but the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape how people live and love.

For individuals, therapy often focuses on healing attachment wounds, developing emotional regulation, and strengthening internal security so clients can move through life with greater confidence, calm, and purpose. Many clients I work with are seeking not just relief from anxiety or stress, but growth—becoming more grounded, more connected, and more fully themselves.

For couples, therapy focuses on improving communication, deepening emotional connection, and building patterns that support a strong, resilient relationship. When couples are navigating infidelity or betrayal, I provide structured, intentional support to stabilize the relationship, address what has occurred, and help couples discern a clear path forward. I utilize the Gottman Method as appropriate, offering research-based tools that support trust-building, communication, and long-term relational health.

For clients who desire it, I offer faith-informed counseling that intentionally integrates spiritual values and biblical principles into the therapeutic process. Faith is not treated as an add-on or minimized; it is woven thoughtfully into the work in a way that respects both psychological health and spiritual integrity. This integration is always guided by the client’s beliefs and preferences and grounded in sound clinical care.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a calm, confidential space where we begin by understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope will change or grow. Whether you are coming as an individual or as a couple, we will discuss your current concerns, relevant personal and relational history, and what feels most pressing at this stage of your life.

I am intentional about creating emotional safety and steadiness from the very beginning. Many clients show up feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally burdened; my role is to slow the process, help organize what feels complex, and offer clarity about where we are headed. This is not a rushed or formulaic first session—it is thoughtful, grounded, and relational.

Clients often finish the first session feeling deeply heard, emotionally settled, and clearer about next steps. My goal is for therapy to feel respectful, purposeful, and supportive from the start—laying a strong foundation for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
