Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I’m a psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship patterns, grief, and the lingering impact of early life experiences. My work is grounded in traditional psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy principles, stress management, and mindfulness.

I believe your story matters. The experiences, relationships, and messages we carry from childhood and family history often shape how we think, feel, cope, and connect today. Therapy can help you better understand those patterns, reduce emotional distress, and create healthier ways of responding to yourself and others. My goal is to provide a calm, thoughtful, and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I help clients explore how early experiences may be connected to present-day struggles, including anxiety, stress, relationship conflict, self-doubt, emotional reactivity, or feeling stuck in repeated patterns.

At the same time, therapy with me is practical. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and stress management tools to help clients build awareness, manage difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe and productive, with the goal of creating lasting growth and greater emotional balance.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental conversation about what brought you to therapy and what you hope will be different in your life. We’ll talk about your current concerns, important parts of your personal and family history, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your relationships, emotions, or daily stress.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help us begin identifying what may be contributing to your distress. By the end of the first session, we will start clarifying your goals and discussing how therapy can support you in feeling more grounded, understood, and capable of change.
