Great to meet you!

I have two masters, LPCC and AMFT. I have offered over 30 years of compassionate, culturally sensitive counseling, and resources to clients of various cultures and communities. My passion stems from personal experiences leading me to volunteer with families victimized by life experiences, including suicidal ideations, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief, and loss. As a Latina, I've worked with a diverse population and in various communities, including in New York and California. I have worked with clients from ages 3 to 99.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a long history working with client's with PTSD. My specialties include CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and mindfulness, However, I like to meet the client where they are and can incorporate other modalities, as needed. I am flexible and able to adapt to client’s needs. I will be with you until you accomplish your goals, and you no longer need me.

What you can expect from our first session

Client's can expect to receive knowledge on the symptoms they are struggling with and resources, including mindfulness techniques. I include the client on establishing their goals by asking them to envision the last day of therapy. What would they like to have accomplished and how would they like to feel?
