Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to growth and feeling empowered. Seeking support and sharing very personal information can feel difficult. Reaching out to a counselor for support is the first step towards change. I have worked in the mental health profession for 10 plus years. I work with adults and children who are struggling with anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a different situation and deserves an individual approach to address their concerns. Part of my role is to walk along your journey, help you gain insight and feel empowered to make changes in your life It is important to me that you feel respected and comfortable sharing your life experiences with me. I will teach you coping skills and work with you to identify progress and/or challenges with working towards your goals.

What you can expect from me

I always start the session where you have an opportunity to share your concerns and what you hope to gain in therapy. We will discuss how you can manage obstacles that might get in the way of achieving your goals. I strive to create an environment where you can express your thoughts and feelings, while also feeling secure that your information will be kept confidential. We will set goals and monitor your progress during the sessions.
