Carol Daigle Ptacek

Welcome! My name is Carol Daigle Ptacek, M.Ed., LPC, MCC, NCC

I currently split my time between the mountains of Idaho and the desert landscapes of Arizona. My credentials include a Master of Education in Counseling from Acadia University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho (ID LPC - 5860), Arizona (AZ LPC - 21854), and Florida (FL TPMC 3513). Additionally, I am a Master Certified Coach (MCC – 1000159) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC-670438). With over 35 years of professional counseling experience, including 14 years at Boise State University as a Counselor, Professional Staff Member, and Adjunct Faculty Member, I am committed to lifelong learning.

My approach is eclectic, drawing from various techniques tailored to each individual. I prioritize a client-centered approach, fostering a collaborative, open, and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Through active listening, asking questions, and clarifying feelings, we work together towards greater understanding and a better life.

I specialize in helping clients manage stress and anxiety, boost motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, navigate career challenges, and cope with life changes.
