Great to meet you!

I’m Carol, a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My hope is to create a warm, supportive space where we can slow down, understand what’s beneath the surface, and explore how your past experiences have shaped who you are today. Together, we’ll work toward realistic, compassionate strategies that can help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I work with college-aged individuals and adults in person and via telehealth across Connecticut. My approach blends warmth, humor, and evidence-based care, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing to explore what change means for you, and Strength-Based work that builds on what is already working. Sessions feel collaborative rather than clinical: we dig into what is underneath the surface, celebrate small wins, and find strategies you can actually use between appointments.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and talk through what is bringing you in. There is no pressure to have it all figured out. I will ask some questions and you set the pace. By the end, most clients tell me they feel a little lighter, like something that has been sitting heavy finally has a place to land.
