I am particularly equipped to help individuals with relationship-based concerns, including parent-child and romantic relationship issues, due to my training in attachment.
Additionally, I have extensive experience working with foster and adoptive families, including having completed a two-year internship at New Alternatives for Children and training in an evidence-based treatment approach for children with attachment disorders.
I use Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches to help children and adults become more emotionally aware, secure in their relationships, and responsive to others.
My goal is to support you in your journey to better understanding your relationship with yourself so that you can better communicate your thoughts and feelings with others. I am committed to creating an open, non-judgmental, and positive space for you to explore this. I may use activities or journal prompts to facilitate your process, but I will not direct you or push you at any point in our therapy together. I enjoy recommending articles, videos, and books to supplement our work.
