Great to meet you!

Life is difficult, we can all attest to that. I work with men and women individually, as well as couples to help resolve long standing issues that hurt your relationship.

Education:

Master of Arts degree in Counseling, Seminary of the Southwest

Bachelor of Applied Learning and Science, University of Texas, with ESL certification (English as a Second Language)

Certifications:

EMDR

My approach to therapy

I actively integrate Christian principles with Cognitive Behavior theory where thoughts and feelings drive behavior. We co-create the dance we engage in so I look at family systems. I am straightforward and curious about your journey. We all experience trauma in some form. I am EMDR certified which helps reprocess past painful memories. EMDR has been approved by the DoD and works well for resolving trauma from serving our country. For more information about EMDR check out (www.emdria.org).

What you can expect from me

You will be able to see yourself clearer and identify what your greatest strengths as well as your greatest weaknesses and identify your motives for why you behave a certain way. I provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to be able be open and honest and encourage you to share your deepest wounds in order to look at them honestly and realistically and be able to address some of those blind spots that get you hung up in relationships.
