Great to meet you!

I’m Carol, a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I bring a whole-person perspective to mental health care, recognizing the important connection between mental and physical health. At Sage, I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, and stress-related concerns. I’m based in Colorado Springs and offer telehealth throughout Colorado. Before entering civilian practice, I served as an Army Nurse Corps Officer for 20 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. My approach to care is grounded in the belief that meaningful treatment begins with listening and understanding each person’s unique experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on the whole person. I take time to listen to your concerns, understand how your mental and physical health may be connected, and learn what you hope to accomplish through treatment. Together, we can explore your symptoms, goals, and treatment options and develop a plan that feels appropriate for you. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, and stress-related concerns. I believe you should feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about your care

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to care. I’ll listen to your concerns, learn about your history and current experiences, and discuss the symptoms or challenges you’d like to address. We’ll also talk about your goals and, when appropriate, explore treatment options such as medication management. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and respected. By the end of our initial conversation, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your needs and a plan for moving forward together.
