Great to meet you!

I am a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who has been practicing in various settings for the past twenty years and has served on the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Columbia University, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I attended medical school at Brown University. I have been committed to serve underserved populations and have extensive experience with immigrants and the LGBTQ community. Hablo espanol con fluidez. Please note that I provide both therapy and medication management in an integrated manner. I do not provide "medication management" for those in therapy with providers that don't have a collaborative relationship with me.

My approach to therapy

I serve children, adolescents and adults who are in need of appropriate diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. I am able to prescribe medication when indicated, yet make this decision in the context of an evaluation of psychological, social, spiritual and familial circumstances. I strive to provide a compassionate, safe space for those seeking my care.

What you can expect from me

I know it can be difficult to reach out to a mental health professional. I will do my best to build trust and develop a healing relationship.
