Dr. Carol Parker

I am a doctorate-prepared, dual-credential Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) (across the lifespan) and an Advanced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (APRN). I have 28 years of experience working in healthcare. I have worked with the developmentally disabled, long-term care, group homes, hospitals, public health, outpatient/inpatient addiction, outpatient psych, and Telepsych. I am passionate about treating addiction, mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety, Schizophrenia, children, teens, adults, and the elderly.

The relationship between the provider and the patient is the foundation for a successful outcome. I advocate for patients and empower them to become active partners in their individual care while engaging in the planning process to achieve the goal. I use telepsychiatry to help bring care to your home. I value honesty, communication, and mutual respect, and these principles guide my decisions in providing empathetic, optimal care to patients.

Patients can expect that I will provide individual psychiatric comprehensive evaluations, follow-up evaluations, and medication management for various mental health illnesses and disorders in a professional, thoughtful, and non-judgmental manner.
