Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Supervisor in Pupil Services. I have provided a variety of services to youth and their families for over 20 years. My skills were gained through working in crisis centers, schools, and a variety of outpatient facilities. In addition to working directly with clients, I was an Adjunct Professor at West Chester University in the counselor education department, where I guided new clinicians in gaining the knowledge, they need, to improve their clinical skills. I was a member of the Chester County Crime Victims Center and currently on the Communities That Cares and Chester County Suicide Prevention Partnership board of directors.

My approach to therapy

I join with my client to identify their concern then using a needs based therapeutic approach, to self-advocate, for the best treatment outcomes. My best asset is my passion for supporting others and the empathy I show every client I work with.

I have the experience and the skills to guide clients through the healing process. I am comfortable working with adults, couples and their families, who are going through life's challenges and transitions.

What you can expect from me

I feel it is important to provide the client with a comfortable, open relationship without judgement. This provides the client the opportunity to honestly share and address their concerns. Homework is frequently given to practice and apply new skills learned in session.
