Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and other life challenges. Many of my clients identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment.

I also specialize in treating individuals experiencing psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia. When appropriate, I coordinate treatment with outside medical providers to ensure therapy complements medication management and supports each client’s overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

We all encounter barriers as we move through life, but how we perceive and interpret those challenges can shape their impact on our well-being and confidence in our ability to overcome them. I view therapy as a collaborative process—a space to examine unhelpful patterns, consider new perspectives, and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s difficulties.

I approach each client with warmth, authenticity, and compassion, creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your experiences. Together, we will build on your strengths and work toward helping you feel more confident, resilient, and fulfilled.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will take time to learn about you, the concerns bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. Because each person’s needs are different, your treatment plan will be individualized and developed collaboratively.

I will recommend evidence-based approaches that are effective for your areas of concern, explain what each approach involves, and discuss why it may be a good fit. Together, we will determine a course of therapy that feels appropriate and manageable. As treatment progresses, we will regularly review your goals, discuss what is or is not working, and adjust our approach as needed.
