Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist with extensive experience working across the behavioral health spectrum. My professional background includes work in youth detention centers, prisons, behavioral health hospitals, group homes, and residential treatment centers (RTCs). These environments shaped my deep respect for resilience and taught me how important safety, trust, and consistency are in the healing process.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is calm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe healing happens best in a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful. I don’t believe in “fixing” clients—rather, I work alongside you to help you build insight, emotional regulation skills, and confidence in your own strengths.

I value slowing things down when life feels overwhelming, setting healthy boundaries, and focusing on practical tools that can be used outside of sessions. Sessions with me are grounded, honest, and paced to meet your individual needs.

Areas of Focus & Populations Served

I have experience working with:

  • Adults and adolescents
  • Justice-involved individuals
  • Clients in residential, group home, and structured care settings

Common areas of focus include:

  • Trauma and complex life experiences
  • Emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Life transitions and stress management
  • Behavioral concerns and self-awareness
  • Building structure, boundaries, and resilience

What you can expect from me

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you’ve had to stay strong for a long time. My goal is to provide a steady, supportive space where you don’t have to explain or defend your experiences. We’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

If you’re looking for a therapist who combines real-world experience with compassion, patience, and structure, I’d be honored to support you on your journey. If incorporating your faith or spirituality feels meaningful to you, I am happy to accommodate that as part of our work together in a way that aligns with your values and comfort level.
