Great to meet you!

Everybody needs a little help sometimes. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and parents who are navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, relationship stress, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, overwhelmed by family changes, or unsure how to find themselves again in a new stage of life.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with teens, college students, adults, and couples. I support clients through issues like co-parenting stress, custody and divorce concerns, self-esteem, attachment patterns, parenting teens, and the challenges that come with adulthood, empty nesting, family turmoil, family concerns, and the emotional impact of chronic health conditions like diabetes.

My approach to therapy

Together, we focus on insight, developing coping tools, and creating meaningful, lasting change. I help clients better understand the patterns shaping their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and reactions so they can move forward with more confidence and stability.

My style is direct, supportive, and practical. I often use CBT because the way we talk to ourselves has a real impact on how we feel and respond, and I bring in trauma-informed care to make sure the work feels grounded and personalized.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk through what has been going on, what feels most important right now, and what you would like to see change. We’ll begin identifying the main stressors, patterns, or relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck.

My goal is for the first session to feel clear, supportive, and useful. You can expect a collaborative conversation, a better sense of direction, and a plan for how we can begin working toward meaningful progress together.

I offer virtual sessions and one day per week of in person in Kennesaw, GA.
