I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 30 years. My style is warm, casual, direct, and invites self-exploration in an open and judgment-free environment, and I often use humor in my work. Additionally, I'm trained in Brainspotting, which is a therapeutic technique that helps access unprocessed traumatic memories. I see individuals and couples of all ages in person, via Telehealth, (Zoom), home visits, or "walk and talks."
I love to work with people from all walks of life who are navigating life transitions, dealing with grief and loss, and those who genuinely want to explore and enhance their overall happiness. Together we can discover ways to cultivate more joy and fulfillment in your life.
I believe the relationship between the therapist and client is the best indicator of success in therapy. I love to connect and join with clients in exploring paths toward attaining more joy and better choices in their lives.
I like to help people to increase comfort and confidence in themselves. Clients tend to both laugh and cry along the way, but they feel accepted, supported, seen and heard by me.
