Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves someone in their corner. I'm a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 3 years of experience I work with children, teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, life transitions, and family concerns. I'm also a Certified Grief Educator with specialized training in trauma and family therapy. Born and raised in Miami, I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Miami (Go Canes!) and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My work is grounded in clinical expertise, but the way I show up for my clients is anything but textbook.

My approach to therapy

I don't see therapy as a place to be "fixed," but as a space to slow down, feel understood, and make meaningful changes. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based; while we make space for pain, we also make space for what's working, including your strengths, small wins, and moments of resilience. Depending on your needs, I draw on CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and family therapy, and with younger clients we often use art and other creative activities. I believe therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time, and I want our work together to feel genuine and approachable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for me to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn what you hope to get out of our work together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and with a clearer sense of where we can go together from there. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to hear from you.
